Since 1944, The Builders Association of Northern, NJ (BANNJ) has served as the premier voice for the building industry as a professional trade association serving builders, remodelers, developers, contractors, service professionals and suppliers in Bergen, Hudson, Passaic & Sussex counties. BANNJ is a local chapter of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA). Our mission is to enhance our members’ ability to provide safe, affordable, quality housing, remodeling and commercial development to the citizens of New Jersey and whose members are committed to integrity and professionalism in the home building industry.

Home building is an essential component of the US economy and way of life. The construction and renovation of residential housing and commercial projects can provide employment, create demand for manufactured building products, and give the real estate industry a constant supply of new products. In addition to these economic benefits, construction and renovation builds communities, strengthens families, satisfies the demand for housing and makes the American Dream of homeownership a reality.
